Failure Analysis for Battery

The requirements for using VELA batteries and chargers are distinct in terms of electric bicycles in China and overseas, due to their diverse usage in all sorts of conditions. People in China regard the electric bikes as transport tools but foreigners use these bikes mainly for leisure and fitness.

Phenomenon:

The failure mode of battery abroad is almost a single failure of the sulfide, accounting for more than 95%.But in China，it takes 66% for water loss in the failure mode，while water loss with sulfide existing in one battery holds more than 97%. Failure mode only for sulfide is just under 10%.
